On Monday, the IFD (Institut de la finance durable) held its annual event called “Les rencontres de l’IFD” where Carbon4 Finance’s team was. The role of financials within the transition was at the core of the discussions.

The UN-convened Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance released its fourth Target-Setting Protocol, expanding to cover all private assets and urging sovereign debt assessment for climate alignment. With unanimous member approval, managing $9.5 trillion, it sets 2030 GHG emissions reduction targets in line with IPCC Sixth Assessment Report.

The Finance for Biodiversity Foundation invites financial institutions to sign its pledge by May 1st, aligning with the Kunming-Montréal Agreement to reverse nature loss by 2030. Joining offers a platform to showcase commitment to biodiversity, access working groups, and collaborate with peers in protecting nature.
