OUR APPROACH
A Bottom-Up Methodology
As companies use different methodologies for their annual reporting, we extract raw physical and activity data to verify and, where necessary, supplement or correct the carbon metrics. This ensures accuracy and comparability between the entities or elements being assessed.
A Dynamic Assessment
We evaluate a company’s transition risks through a dynamic analysis of its climate performance:
- Past: tracks historical climate trends in greenhouse gas absolute emissions and intensities.
- Current: measures present performance against specific activity reference scenarios or benchmarks.
- Future: evaluates forward-looking performance across 5 criteria (strategic vision, Capital Expenditures, Scope 1 & 2 targets, Scope 3 targets, and climate governance).
